In my day job I spend a lot of time interviewing people, but usually there’s not enough time to find out more about them. This year though I’ve had an amazing opportunity to do some much longer one-to-one interviews for an ITV Wales programme called Face to Face.
You can watch each of the 13 programmes here - they’re all fascinating in very different ways.
The interviewees are, in reverse date order:
Paul Flynn - Labour MP for Newport West
Rev Lionel Fanthorpe - vicar, writer, broadcaster, paranormal investigator
Gerry Keighley - former editor of the South Wales Argus newspaper
Mark Serwotka - General Secretary PCS union
Sir Terry Matthews - businessman named as Wales’ richest man
Rosaleen Moriarty-Simmonds - campaigner, writer, mum who refuses to let Thalidomide define her
Andrew RT Davies AM - leader of the Conservatives in the Welsh Assembly
Owen Smith MP - Labour Shadow Welsh Secretary
Leanne Wood AM - leader of Plaid Cymru
Cheryl Gillan MP - former Secretary of State for Wales
Ann Clwyd MP - long-serving Labour MP, campaigner for the Kurdish people of Iraq
Dafydd Iwan - singer, record label boss, Welsh language campaigner
Peter Hain MP - former Secretary of State for Wales, anti-apartheid campaigner, senior Labour figure

Any idea when the series returns?
