I’ve been inundated on twitter with people revealing what was the first single they bought with their own money. So much so that retweeting them all landed me in twitter jail for a while.
It all started when I confessed that the first single that made me part with my hard-earned pocket money was Joe Dolce’s ‘Shaddap You Face.’ I was only 11.
There are simply too many for me to drag them all here - over 100 in total - but it’s well worth a scroll through them for some amazing memories including those of politicians in Parliament and the National Assembly. This link will take you to my twitter feed.
