Here’s a little treat for the coming week. Free Swim - who I’ve not heard of previously - have a free 4-track EP of really enjoyable, upbeat indie songs that are frankly a little bit loony. They tell the story of a panda called, yes, Yolanda who escapes from captivity in order to fulfil her ambition to climb Everest. I know how that sounds, but give it a go; I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised. After all you have to admire any song which includes the line: ‘Yolanda. Nothing rhymes with you except Rwanda.’
